The Industrial Modeling and Optimization: Theory and Applications (iMOPTA) is a one-day event, this year focused on Energy and Sustainability. The objective of iMOPTA is to present and discuss industrial innovation and the research behind it, and to connect industry and academia more actively. This new half-day workshop is grounded in a Lehigh University flagship conference, the Modeling and Optimization: Theory and Applications (MOPTA).
We are designing iMOPTA to complement MOPTA, nurturing more applied research collaboration and providing a forum to present needs from industry partners and discuss academic developments and industrial potential intersections, highlighting academic research with high industrial impacts. The planned format is as follows.
The MOPTA and iMOPTA will be consecutive, taking place from August 14th to 16th (Wednesday to Friday), 2024, at Lehigh University in Bethlehem, PA, USA. MOPTA will start on Wednesday, August 14, and end at 11:15am on Friday, August 16. The inaugural iMOPTA will start at 11:30am on Friday, August 16, and end at 4:00pm on the same day.
