Directions

The conference talks will take place in the Schapiro Center at Columbia University. The building is located on W 120th St. between Broadway and Amsterdam. The building can easily be reached on foot from the subway stop (for the 1 Train) at 116th St. (Columbia U). A few more maps and pieces of information are listed below:

Hotels

There are many hotels in New York. These have been recommended by the local committee as affordable choices that are relatively close to the workshop site. We recommend that you reserve early -- affordable rooms may become scarce. The first two are recommended if you seek (relatively) inexpensive accommodations, and the last two are good recommended if you want something nicer, but not very cheap.
