Jingfu Tan is now a Ph.D. student in the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering at Lehigh University. He received his bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Applied Mathematics from Nankai University, and received his master’s degree in Science from the Industrial and System Engineering Department at University of Southern California. His research interest lies broadly in machine learning, continuous optimization, and stochastic optimization, hoping to combine state-of-the-art algorithms with real-world applications.
