About me

I am a fifth year PhD student in Mathematical Optimization at Lehigh University. I received my masters in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Sharif and Polytechnic universities in Iran. I joined the ISE department in 2013, and since then, I have been working with Professor Tamas Terlaky at the intersection of optimization theory and theoretical conic optimization. As of September 2015, I have been a server administrator in COR@L hosted by the Industrial and Systems Engineering department at Lehigh University.

My research interest revolves around optimization theory, conic optimization, and computational optimization. I am particularly interested in design and analysis of optimization algorithms for conic optimization problems, conic reformulation of polynomial/copositive optimization problems, regularization techniques for singular conic optimization problems, and parametric and stability analysis of conic optimization problems using convex algebraic geometry and variational inequalities.
